It was with a sense of nervous anticipation that I invited you to share with us in underwriting the costs of the forthcoming Arabic Speaking teaching project, to produce high quality videos that can be shared across the Arabic speaking Muslim world. But now my heart is overflowing with thanksgiving to the Lord for the great response there has been from you, the readers of my Blog.
Not only have all the budgeted costs been fully met, but we are now able to help people to participate from significant places in the Muslim world, who would not have been able to come without your help. So thank you, thank you and thank you again. We would now value your prayers for the event itself which will take place during the first full week of August.
I am writing this on the eve of the UK General Election, and by the time you read it, we will all know the result. Everything is being shaken, both here and around the world. The “wars and rumours of wars” are constantly with us and we are sitting on the edge of our seats as the spiritual and physical battles, that are raging around Israel, unfold on a daily basis.
Before long I will be sharing with you some of the things that God has laid upon my heart for the Body of Christ, in what is undoubtedly the most disturbing season of the whole of my life. For now, I just wanted to say how grateful I am for your generosity in supporting the extraordinary work that God is unfolding for us in the Middle East.

In our western world we now have many contacts and network threads that can carry prayer far if we recognize our task in it.

Yes, it is so important to pray for the events because it is only possible with God, given all the resistance and hostility.
