We are living in extraordinary days. The whole world is changing shape at an unprecedented pace. And as the days close in towards the end of the age, believers need to be alert in the Spirit and ready for whatever lies ahead of us. In these days, I have always seen life-changing teaching as vital ‘food’ for the Body of Christ.
So, it came as a major shock when we heard that Ellel were to close down their publishing operation, Sovereign World Ltd, cease to publish our books and remove the life-changing online training programme, Journey to Freedom, from the Ellel website! But this shock, and consequential crisis, has created new opportunities! It’s exciting to see how God has given us a new way forward to make everything available once more for the Body of Christ!
Journey to Freedom is Back Online
Journey to Freedom has been used by God to heal and equip people for real-life living. Pastors and leaders have been refreshed in their ministry. New destinies have been birthed as a result. This is how it came about.
Many years ago I had a very clear vision of a 365-day, online healing and discipleship course to be described as “Personal Transformation – One Day at a Time”. It sounded crazy, but I sensed it was from God. Then, shortly afterwards, an intercessor gave me a piece of paper and said, “The Lord gave me this for you, but I don’t know what it means, do you?” On it was Habakkuk 2:2, which says:
“Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it, for the revelation awaits an appointed time.”
I knew exactly what it meant – it was a precisely timed confirmation that the vision God had given me really was from Him and that, however crazy it may seem, I had to start writing. The revelation would be the daily teaching for 365 days, the modern-day tablet was not a waxed board, but the computer and the herald was not now a man carrying a scroll, but the internet, which would carry the message all over the world!
And so it was that the online healing and discipleship training programme, originally known as Ellel 365, was born. It took me over a year to complete the writing and it was subsequently re-named Journey to Freedom. I am astounded at how many people around the world have already been blessed, and healed in some very deep ways, through applying the teaching one day at a time, and experienced radical personal transformation. It is written in an uncomplicated, but profoundly relational way and the testimonies have been extraordinary, such as these:
“It has changed my life for ever. These past twelve months have been the most fulfilling and exciting experience I have had in my walk with the Lord . . . I weep with gratitude for what God has done for me . . . it’s been a lifeline that held me safe while Father God touched the broken places . . . the most important thing I have ever done – it’s reality . . . truly life transforming.”
Yes, it was a great shock when Journey to Freedom (JTF) was closed down on the Ellel website, but I am now thrilled to tell you that Journey to Freedom is not only back, but it is also much improved, with a lot of new material added! It is presented exactly as it was meant to be – in an online, very affordable, subscription format, taking the teaching round the world via the internet!

This is what Jim Graham, the former Pastor of Gold Hill Baptist Church, said about JTF: “Discipleship is the essence of the calling of God on our lives. Many people have already expressed dismay at the loss of the books. I had no expectation that I would be having to repeat the operation fifty-four years later! I am learning from my own teaching that there is no retirement in the Christian life!
Onward and Upward
Fiona and I would deeply value your prayers in this extended season of our lives. God is blessing the work of Gates of Hope International (www.gohi.world) in some amazing ways. Hello Peter, I have been soo blessed to have go e thought he Journey to freedom series and just completed book 8 earlier this year with an accountability group. I am forever grateful to have plugged in cos it has transformed my life immeasurably. It has greatly encouraged me into delightfully pursuing God and His purposes,the truths have been liberating from lies& strongholds and interesting how every teaching from book 1-8 was timely and relevant for seasons I was in at any reading, clearly only God having orchestrated every word you wrote.Thank you for being faithful.
It is sad to hear the news of what has been happening but I also praise the Lord for how he watches over His word to fulfill it. Nothing stands in the way of His purposes.

Thank you so much Mark for sharing your personal story. I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Jeremiah but so very blessed to hear how the Lord has taken all the broken pieces and put them together again. He is able to heal and restore beyond anything we could ever imagine.
The new Journey to Freedom has had some minor editing but the Day 6 of each week has been completely rewritten so that it is no longer just a review of what has been covered in the previous week, but is now a day of practical application of what has been learned in the previous five days.

A few years ago, I was looking for Journey to Freedom on the Ellel website and realized that it was not there; at that point I immediately ordered the books that contain the material. I felt uneasy in my spirit when I realized that the new leadership had taken it off the website.
Thank you so very much for all you have done for us and for the so many thousands of people. Your materials and ministry over many years has been an incredible blessing to us!! Your blog posts have really ministered to me.

Great Day in the Lord Peter, I was originally enrolled in the Ellel 365 in 2012 – 2013 then it crashed. It was such a blessing. I was able to download all the lessons before the website went down.
Then 2021 you offered the free Journey to Freedom online. I don’t think the website works any more.
Question about this new one.
Are all these lessons the same? Or have they been updated or revised?
I sure they will continue to be a source of blessing, healing and freedom that Jesus has secured for all as they have been to me.
Due to the sudden unexpected death of our son, Jeremiah (38) in 2018. Teachings I’ve received from your materials (original Ellel 365, Living the Life book and Healing & Deliverance book), Derek Prince and others caused such tragic loss to bring my wife and I to Jesus as the One who still heals the broken in heart. I remember laid out on the kitchen floor crying out to God in a puddle of tears. I’m broken in a million pieces what are you going to do? Then in a very soft loving voice in my spirit I heard Him say; “I’m going to take each piece and make something more beautiful.” The healing of our precious Lord began just hours later and continues.
What a precious Jesus we have. There is nothing we face in life that He hasn’t made a provision for by His precious blood and love.
May the Lord continue to bless and keep you, your family and healing ministry to God’s glory,

I mentioned Tikvah in Switzerland.
I wrote the name of the translator in Switzerland, but now I suddenly find it might be improper and against her will to have her name mentioned!!!

There was a lot of data security rules at Tikvah, and I fear I absentmindedly went against them.

My name is Elizabeth and in 2005 after my husband had died and the year previous on retirement being clergy we had also move house and Church
It was difficult and I was in need of spiritual uplift and loving care.I had been to The Grange for teaching and care and so was delighted when I saw Ellel 365 advertised on my Laptop {I was new to this tech} I applied and for 2 yrs was a great spiritual tool Thank you I do support the ministry
I also came to a healing weekend and now watch Revelation TV they admire the ministry
